The Second Stage production of Stephen Adly Guirgis’ play, directed by Austin Pendleton, began previews on Dec. 1 and officially opened at the Hayes Theatre on Dec. 19. The production runs through Feb. 12.
The play tells the story of a newly-widowed father and his recently paroled son who fight to keep the last rent stabilized apartment on Riverside Drive — with old wounds and new characters who pop up along the way.
The Broadway engagement is produced under the leadership of Second Stage’s president and artistic director Carole Rothman and executive director Khady Kamara.
