Kate Wetherhead, a Broadway actor and co-creator of the online series “Submissions Only,” has joined the writing team for “The Devil Wears Prada” musical.
Wetherhead will co-write the book alongside the previously announced playwright Paul Rudnick. She joins the creative team which includes composer Elton John, lyricist Shaina Taub and director Anna D. Shapiro.
The Broadway-aimed musical is scheduled to make its world premiere in Chicago in July 2022. It is produced by Kevin McCollum and Rocket Entertainment.
