The musical “Chicago” will host a TransTech Day on Oct. 29, producers have announced.
Angelica Ross, currently in the final weeks of her run as Roxie Hart, is the founder/CEO of TransTech Social Enterprises, a company dedicated to fostering LGBTQ+ talent, with an emphasis on empowering transgender people.
TransTech Day will begin with a networking event at Spritz Times Square in partnership with TransTech Social Enterprises from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
The event will continue with the 2:30 p.m. matinee of “Chicago.” A talkback will be held after the performance, featuring Ross and EC Pizarro III. The discussion will be moderated by Hope Giselle.
Following the talkback, participants and attendees will gather at Hurley’s Saloon.
Ross will continue in her limited engagement in “Chicago” at the Ambassador Theatre through Nov. 6.
