Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction will return this fall

The annual fundraising event will take place in September.

A date has been set for the 2024 Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction. The annual fundraising event, produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, will take place on Sept. 22 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The outdoor market, open to the public, offers tables of merchandise, collectibles, props and other theater-related items. Booths representing Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, theater owners, unions and other industry organizations are set up along West 44th and West 45th Streets between Seventh and Eighth Avenues. A silent auction is set to take place in Shubert Alley. The day will conclude with a live auction in Times Square’s pedestrian plaza located between West 45th and West 46th Streets.

Participating shows and organizations, as well as auction lots, will be announced.

Proceeds will directly support Broadway Cares’ efforts in providing access to medications, counseling, housing and more to individuals living with HIV/AIDS and other illnesses. Since its 1987 inception, the annual event has raised over $18.7 million. The 2023 Flea Market raised $1,237,279, a record high.
