‘KPOP’ cast recording sets new release date

The previously announced original Broadway cast recording of "KPOP" will be released digitally on May 8 and on CD on May 12. The album was originally set to be released in February.

The previously announced original Broadway cast recording of “KPOP” will be released digitally on May 8 and on CD on May 12. The album was originally set to be released in February.

Featuring music, lyrics, music production and arrangements by Helen Park and music and lyrics by Max Vernon, the recording is being produced by Park, Matt Stein and Harvey Mason Jr. for Sony Masterworks Broadway.

“KPOP” opened at the Circle in the Square Theatre on Nov. 27, 2022 and closed on Dec. 11.

The album will feature cast members Luna, Julia Abueva, BoHyung, Major Curda, Jinwoo Jung, Jiho Kang, Amy Keum, James Kho, Marina Kondo, Eddy Lee, Joshua Lee, Jully Lee, Lina Rose Lee, Timothy H. Lee, Abraham Lim, Kate Mina Lin, Aubie Merrylees, Min, Patrick Park, Zachary Noah Piser, Kevin Woo and John Yi.

“KPOP” was produced on Broadway by Tim Forbes and Joey Parnes.
