Suzan-Lori Parks’ “Topdog/Underdog” will play a 16-week limited-engagement run on Broadway this fall, marking the show’s 20th anniversary.

Previews are set to begin Sept. 27 with opening night scheduled for Oct. 20. The revival will run at the John Golden Theatre. The play previously ran at the Ambassador Theatre from April to August 2002.

Corey Hawkins and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will play brothers Lincoln and Booth. Kenny Leon will direct.

The creative team includes scenic design by Arnulfo Maldonado, costume design by Dede Ayite, lighting design by Allen Lee Hughes and sound design by Justin Ellington. Casting is by Calleri Jensen Davis. Kamra Jacobs will serve as the Production Stage Manager.

Parks won the 2002 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for “Topdog/Underdog,” making her the first Black woman to win the prize.

“Topdog/Underdog” is produced by David Stone, LaChanze, Rashad V. Chambers, Marc Platt, Debra Martin Chase and the Shubert Organization.
