‘Bob Fosse’s Dancin’’ announces cast and creatives for San Diego engagement

The Old Globe announced the cast Wednesday for “Bob Fosse’s Dancin.’” The reimagining of Fosse’s 1978 revue is scheduled for a six-week engagement in San Diego starting April 19. Producer Joey Parnes previously announced plans to bring the show to Broadway in the 2022-2023 season.

The Old Globe announced the cast Wednesday for “Bob Fosse’s Dancin.’”

The reimagining of Fosse’s 1978 revue is scheduled for a six-week engagement in San Diego starting April 19. Producer Joey Parnes previously announced plans to bring the show to Broadway in the 2022-2023 season.

The ensemble cast features Ioana Alfonso (“Wicked”), Yeman Brown (“Jagged Little Pill”), Peter John Chursin (“Wicked”), Dylis Croman (“Chicago”), Tony d’Alelio, Jōvan Dansberry (“King Kong”), Karli Dinardo (“Moulin Rouge!”), Jacob Guzman (“West Side Story”), Manuel Herrera (“Wicked”), Kolton Krouse (“Cats”), Mattie Love (“Wicked”), Yani Marin (“Wicked”), Nando Morland (“West Side Story”), Khori Michelle Petinaud (“Aladdin”), Ida Saki and Ron Todorowski (“Finding Neverland”).

Wayne Cilento is adapting Fosse’s original direction and choreography for the revival. Cilento is joined by scenic designer Robert Brill, costume designers Reid Bartelme and Harriet Jung, lighting designer David Grill and sound designer Peter Hylenski.

“Bob Fosse’s Dancin’” is produced at the Old Globe in cooperation with Nicole Fosse and by special arrangement with Parnes.
