‘Take Me Out’ pushes back Broadway previews to March 10

The first preview of “Take Me Out” is now set for March 10, 2022, the production announced Friday. Originally scheduled to begin previews March 9, the production cited “a change in the production schedule” for the move. Opening night for the play remains April 4.

The first preview of “Take Me Out” is now set for March 10, 2022, the production announced Friday.

Originally scheduled to begin previews March 9, the production cited “a change in the production schedule” for the move. Opening night for the play remains April 4.

“Take Me Out” is being produced by Second Stage Theater and will play the company’s Hayes Theater. The revival of Richard Greenberg’s play, directed by Scott Ellis, will star Jesse Williams, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Patrick J. Adams. The cast will also feature Julian Cihi, Hiram Delgado, Brandon J. Dirden, Carl Lundstedt, Ken Marks, Michael Oberholtzer, Eduardo Ramos and Tyler Lansing Weaks.

The production was originally scheduled to open in spring 2020, but was delayed twice due to the pandemic.
