The Broadway revival of ‘for colored girls…’ sets March opening at the Booth Theatre

The revival of “for colored girls who have considered suicide/when the rainbow is enuf” will play the Booth Theatre on Broadway this March.  The production, directed and choreographed by Camille A. Brown, will begin performances on March 4, 2022, ahead of an opening night March 24.

The revival of “for colored girls who have considered suicide/when the rainbow is enuf” will play the Booth Theatre on Broadway this March.

The production, directed and choreographed by Camille A. Brown, will begin performances on March 4, 2022, ahead of an opening night March 24. Casting for the production will be announced at a later date.

Ntozake Shange’s play originally premiered at the Booth Theatre in September 1976.

Tickets for the upcoming engagement were put on sale for American Express Card members Monday. Tickets will go on sale for the general public starting Dec. 9.
