Second Stage sets dates for ‘Clyde’s,’ ‘Take Me Out’ on Broadway

Second Stage has announced production dates for its upcoming Broadway and Off-Broadway seasons. “Clyde’s,” written by Lynn Nottage and directed by Kate Whoriskey, will begin previews at the Helen Hayes Theater on Nov. 3, 2021 and open on Nov. 22.

Second Stage has announced production dates for its upcoming Broadway and Off-Broadway seasons.

“Clyde’s,” written by Lynn Nottage and directed by Kate Whoriskey, will begin previews at the Helen Hayes Theater on Nov. 3, 2021 and open on Nov. 22. The revival of Richard Greenberg’s “Take Me Out,” directed by Scott Ellis, will begin previews March 9, 2022 and open April 4.

“Take Me Out” was originally scheduled to run on Broadway in spring 2020, but was postponed due to the pandemic.

Neither production has yet announced casting for their upcoming runs. “Take Me Out”  originally announced stars including Jesse Williams, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Patrick J. Adams.

“Between Riverside and Crazy” is scheduled to have a Broadway run in fall 2022, but exact dates have not yet been announced.

The world premiere of “Letters of Suresh,” written by Rajiv Joseph and directed by May Adrales, will begin previews at the Off-Broadway Kiser Theater on Sept. 14, 2021 and open on Oct. 4.

The premiere of “To My Girls,” written by JC Lee and directed by Stephen Brackett, will begin previews March 22, 2022 and open April 14.
