Dharon E. Jones will replace Ben Cook in the role of Riff in “West Side Story” after Cook sustained an injury during the show.

Cook was injured during the evening performance on Sunday. This is the second injury in the production, after lead Isaac Powell, playing Tony, suffered a knee injury during a performance.

Powell is expected to return to the production, but opening night has been pushed back to Feb. 20. Jordan Dobson, who was Powell’s standby, has been playing the role of Tony until Powell returns.

Jones, taking over for Cook, previously performed the role of Action in the production.

Directed by Ivo van Hove and choreographed by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, the revival began previews at the Broadway Theatre on Dec. 10. Scott Rudin, Barry Diller and David Geffen are producing.
