Bryan Cranston won this year’s distinguished performance award from the Drama League Awards.

The Drama League, which includes off-Broadway and Broadway, selected Cranston from 53 performers this season.

At its 85th annual awards ceremony on Friday, the League announced “Hadestown” for outstanding musical and “The Ferryman” for outstanding play. “Kiss Me, Kate” won for outstanding revival of a musical and “The Waverly Gallery” won for outstanding revival of a play.

Special awards were given to Kelli O’Hara for distinguished achievement in musical theater, to Alex Timbers for excellence in directing and to Taylor Mac for unique contribution to theater.
