The Drama League announced its 2019 nominees Wednesday, which include off-Broadway and Broadway productions.

In addition to category-specific awards, the Drama League, made up of industry professionals, producers, artists, audiences, and critics, choses one actor to receive the distinguished performance award. Last year, Glenda Jackson took home the award for her performance in “Three Tall Women.”

The awards ceremony will take place on May 17 at Marriott Marquis Times Square.

“The Boys in the Band” was not eligible because the production did not give out tickets to the nominators “due to the limited ticket availability and limited run of the show,” according to a spokesperson for the show.

In addition to the competitive awards, the Drama League has announced special recognition awards given to Kelli O’Hara for distinguished achievement in musical theater, to Alex Timbers for excellence in directing and to Taylor Mac for unique contribution to theater.
