‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ will offer $10 tickets to student groups

“To Kill a Mockingbird” will partner with the New York City Department of Education to make $10 tickets available to middle and high school students in public schools across the city.

“To Kill a Mockingbird” will partner with the New York City Department of Education to make $10 tickets available to middle and high school students in public schools across the city.

The $10 tickets will be available to student groups for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening performances from March 12 through May 21, 2019 and for Wednesday and Thursday matinee performances from March 6 through June 5, 2019. “To Kill a Mockingbird” begins previews Thursday Nov. 1, with an opening night on Dec. 13.

“Thanks to this partnership with the producers of To Kill a Mockingbird on Broadway, students will experience the words of a timeless novel coming to life on stage,” Richard A. Carranza, chancellor of New York City Schools, said in the press release.

The offer will also be made to interested schools outside of New York City.
