Members of the creative team from the Broadway musical “Smash,” as well as its central performer, appeared on CBS News Sunday Morning on April 6. The musical’s Tony Award-winning director, Susan Stroman, Tony-winning composer-lyricist team Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman and Tony-nominated actor Robyn Hurder discussed the journey of adapting “Smash” from an NBC television series to the stage.
“Smash” began previews at the Imperial Theatre on March 11. The musical is slated to open on April 10.
