An original cast album for “The Outsiders” was released digitally in May and on CD in June. The production has released a video of Joshua Boone and the company recording the song “Little Brother.” Boone received a 2024 Tony Award nomination for his featured turn as Dallas Winston.
Featuring a Tony-nominated book by Adam Rapp and Justine Levine and score by Jamestown Revival and Levine, “The Outsiders” follows two groups of Oklahoma youths as they try to find their way in the world. The Danya Taymor-directed musical opened on Broadway on April 11 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre. The production received 12 Tony Award nominations, winning four, including trophies for Best Musical and Taymor’s direction.
