The Muny released a rehearsal video of Jessica Vosk and Devin DeSantis singing “Bad Idea” from the St. Louis venue’s upcoming production of “Waitress.”
Based on the 2007 film of the same name, “Waitress” features a book by Jessie Nelson and a Tony Award-nominated score by Sara Bareilles. The musical follows Jenna, a server at a diner whose pie-baking prowess provides solace from her abusive marriage. “Waitress” will open at the Muny on July 30 and play a limited engagement through Aug. 5.
