Ahead of previews that begin on Oct. 29 at the Longacre Theatre, the producers of Broadway’s “Swept Away” have released a music video of the song “A Gift for Melody Anne.” The video features Tony Award winner John Gallagher Jr., Tony nominee Stark Sands, Adrian Blake Enscoe and Wayne Duvall.
Featuring a book by Tony winner John Logan and a score of previously composed and new songs by the Avett Brothers, “Swept Away” follows the crew of a whaling ship as they are faced with a shipwreck. Tony winner Michael Mayer is directing the musical, which is set to open on Nov. 19.
“Swept Away” is being produced by Matthew Masten, Sean Hudock and Madison Wells Live.
