Reality television star Ariana Madix will bow in Broadway’s “Chicago.” Madix will step into the principal role of Roxie Hart on Jan. 29, 2024. for an eight-week engagement through March 24.
“Chicago” will mark Madix’s Broadway debut. Known for her long-standing tenure on the Bravo reality television series “Vanderpump Rules,” Madix was a finalist on the just-completed 32nd season of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” A trained bartender, she is the author of the book “Single AF Cocktails: Drinks for Bad B*tches.”
The current principal cast of “Chicago” includes Charlotte d’Amboise as Roxie Hart, Kimberly Marable as Velma Kelly, Max von Essen as Billy Flynn, Lili Thomas as Matron “Mama” Morton, James T. Lane as Amos Hart and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine. Casting is by ARC/Duncan Stewart.
“Chicago,” the longest-running revival — play or musical — in Broadway history celebrated its 27th anniversary on Broadway on Nov. 14.
