As part of her ongoing celebration of 50 years on Broadway, current “Funny Girl” star Tovah Feldshuh has partnered with the Entertainment Community Fund to create The Feldshuh Fund for Women’s Health. The fund will provide women in the entertainment community with services for early detection of ovarian and other reproductive cancers.
The partnership announcement was made at a gathering to honor Feldshuh’s career achievement on June 4. Entertainment Community Fund president and CEO Joe Benincasa and chair Brian Stokes Mitchell were on hand, as well as dozens of other industry members, to celebrate the milestone.
