Tony Goldwyn is joining the cast of “Network,” playing alongside Bryan Cranston and Tatiana Maslany.
Goldwyn, who recently completed seven seasons starring on the television show “Scandal,” will take on the role of Max Schumacher, in the play which begins previews on Nov. 10, 2018 at the Belasco Theatre.
The complete cast includes Joshua Boone, Alyssa Bresnahan, Ron Canada, Julian Elijah Martinez, Frank Wood, Nick Wyman, Barzin Akhavan, Jason Babinsky, Camila Canó Flaviá, Eric Chayefsky, Gina Daniels, Nicholas Guest, Joe Paulik, Susannah Perkins, Victoria Sendra, Henry Stram, Bill Timoney, Joseph Varca, Nicole Villamil and Jeena Yi.
Goldwyn previously appeared in “Promises, Promises” and “Holiday” on Broadway.
The play, adapted by Lee Hall and directed by Ivo van Hove, has set an opening date of Dec. 6, 2018.
