The national tour of “The Play That Goes Wrong” has recouped its investment in 15 weeks.
The tour opened in Pittsburgh in September 2018 and has scheduled dates through August 2019. It recouped in the week ending Jan. 6, 2019, after playing the Kennedy Center.
The Broadway production, which recouped its $4 million capitalization after 17 months, ended its run at the Lyceum Theatre on Jan. 6. The show will continue performances off-Broadway beginning Feb. 11 at New World Stages.
