Broadway’s box office rebounded following a week of gross decreases across the board. The cumulative gross for the 34 productions playing during week ending May 12 was $35,727,377, representing a 2.3% increase from the week ending May 5. Attendance, however, dipped a slight 1.1%, with 286,841 Main Stem admissions tallied during week 51 of the 2023-2024 season. Seats of Broadway houses were filled to 90.6% capacity, up 2.3 percentage points from the previous week.
