“The Lifespan of a Fact” has recouped its production costs after running on Broadway for three months.
The play, produced by Jeffrey Richards and starring Daniel Radcliffe, Cherry Jones and Bobby Cannavale, will run for three more weeks at Studio 54, with a West End production and a limited national tour being planned. On Broadway, the play was capitalized for up to $4.1 million, according to documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
“The Lifespan of a Fact,” which began previews on Sept. 20, hit its highest gross in the week ended Oct. 28, reaching $985,183. Across its run, the show has typically brought in between 70 to 90 percent of its gross potential.
In the most recent week, ended Dec. 16, 2018, the play brought in $790,460, or 73 percent of its gross potential.
