“The Last Five Years” has found its Broadway home. The previously announced Main Stem production will play the Hudson Theatre, with previews scheduled to begin on March 18, 2025, and an opening-night date set for April 6. Whitney White will direct the production, which is slated to play a 14-week limited engagement. The two-hander will star Adrienne Warren and Nick Jonas.
Featuring a book, music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown, “The Last Five Years” follows the relationship of Cathy (Warren) and Jamie (Jonas) over the course of five years, told by Cathy starting with the end of their partnership and by Jamie from the beginning.
The Hudson Theatre is the recent home to “Merrily We Roll Along,” which concluded its run on July 7.
A design team for “The Last Five Years” is still to be announced.
