There are multiple women on Broadway invested in youth. Norma Desmond broods over it. Mama Rose won’t let go of it. But Madeline Ashton and Helen Sharp dabble in the darker arts. Both characters take center stage in director-choreographer Christopher Gattelli’s “Death Becomes Her,” an adaption of the 1992 morbid comedy film. It’s a feat of resplendence — a magnetic blend of indulgent design and relentless hilarity, anchored by two glamorous goofs.
