Broadway’s “SIX” has announced a post-show karaoke performance. Part of the musical’s “SIXth of the Month” series, the event will take place immediately following the 7 p.m. performance on June 6. The evening will be hosted by “America’s Got Talent” season 16 semifinalist Tory Vagasy.
To participate, fans must submit a video via TikTok or Instagram of themselves singing a song from Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss’ Tony Award-winning score to “SIX.” The social media posts must incorporate #SIXBroadwayKaraoke and #YouHaveAVoice, and tag @SIXBroadway. Three singers will be selected and gifted tickets to the June 6 performance when they will perform their preferred song onstage afterward.
“SIX” currently stars Khaila Wilcoxon as Catherine of Aragon, Storm Lever as Anne Boleyn, Jasmine Forsberg as Jane Seymour, Olivia Donalson as Anna of Cleves, Didi Romero as Katherine Howard and Gabriela Carrillo as Catherine Parr.
Directed by Moss and Jamie Armitage, “SIX” imagines a reunion of the six ex-wives of British ruler King Henry VIII during which the queens reclaim their stories. The musical, which recently announced a loyalty program, opened on Oct. 3, 2021 at the Lena Horne Theatre. The production received eight 2022 Tony nominations, winning two.
“SIX” is produced by Kenny Wax, Wendy & Andy Barnes, George Stiles and Kevin McCollum.
