The Broadway casts of “Moulin Rouge! The Musical” and “Six” are set to perform during this year’s Thanksgiving Day Parade broadcast on CBS.
Hosted by Kevin Frazier and Keltie Knight, “The Thanksgiving Day Parade on CBS” will air on Nov. 24 at 9 a.m. and will also be available to stream on Paramount+.
Also scheduled to appear are Jeremy Sisto from “FBI,” Liza Lapira from “The Equalizer” and Louis Cato, the bandleader on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss, who have served as producers on The Tony Awards, are executive producers for “The Thanksgiving Day Parade on CBS.” Weiss will also direct.
The CBS broadcast differs from NBC’s, as it has separate live performances and different hosts while showing snippets of the 96th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
This year’s NBC broadcast is slated to include Lea Michele and the cast of “Funny Girl,” followed by numbers from “A Beautiful Noise,” “Some Like It Hot” and “The Lion King.”
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will begin from 77th Street and Central Park West in Manhattan, and end at Seventh Avenue in front of Macy’s Herald Square.
