Broadway’s Best Shows, a new platform for streaming and written content, will feature a series of one-night-only plays including a star-studded performance of David Mamet’s “November” and A.R. Gurney’s “Love Letters” featuring Bryan Cranston and Sally Field.
The platform, founded by Jeffrey Richards, Jim Glaub and Jacob Soroken Porter, will launch the live-streamed series beginning May 7 “November,” featuring John Malkovich, Patti LuPone, Dylan Baker, Ethan Phillips and Michael Nichols. The original Broadway cast of Joshua Harmon’s “Significant Other” will reunite for a live-streaming performance on May 14 and “Love Letters” will play on May 21.
The plays will all be live-streamed at 8 p.m. EST on the Actors Fund YouTube Channel and Broadway’s Best Shows YouTube and Facebook pages. The performances are intended to benefit the Actors Fund.
