‘Our Town’ becomes first Thornton Wilder play to gross over $1 million in a week

Broadway’s box office remained relatively consistent, with a small bump in gross and a minor dip in attendance, during week 35 of the 2024-2025 season. During the week ending Jan. 19, the 29 currently running productions amassed $33,372,166 in gross. This marks a 3.7% increase from the week prior (ending Jan. 12) when one additional show was offered. Main Stem admissions tallied 250,806, which represents a 1.4% decrease from the previous week. Capacity also had a slight dip (down 0.6%) with 90.9% of all available seats filled.
