Nicki Hunter has been appointed artistic producer of Manhattan Theatre Club.
In that role, Hunter will work with the theater company’s artistic team on season programming and on producing the current Manhattan Theatre Club shows. Hunter has been with MTC for 10 years, starting as an intern and most recently working as a line producer, a role she has held since 2015.
“I have enormous respect and admiration for Nicki, and I’m confident that she will have a dynamic impact on MTC’s artistic profile,” said Lynne Meadow, artistic director of MTC. .
Hunter graduated from Lehigh University, where she studied theater and business. In addition to MTC, Hunter’s theater credits include producing at NYMF and working for Prospect Theatre Company and Cape Repertory Theatre.
