A new play has been announced for the 2024-2025 Broadway season. “All In: Comedy About Love” by Simon Rich will begin performances at the Hudson Theatre on Dec. 11 for a 10-week limited engagement through Feb. 16, 2025. Alex Timbers will direct the production, which will be produced by Seaview and Lorne Michaels.

Comprised of humorous vignettes exploring marriage, relationships and heartbreak, “All In” will feature a company of four performers who will each appear in the comedy for a few weeks. John Mulaney, Fred Armisen, Richard Kind and Renée Elise Goldsberry will open the production, the former three actors appearing through Jan. 12, 2025, while Goldsberry will depart the production on Dec. 30. Chloe Fineman will appear from Jan. 2 through Jan 12. Additional replacement casting, by Taylor Williams, will be announced.

Mulaney spent six years as writer and performer on “Saturday Night Live” (“SNL”), collaborating with fellow scribe Rich. Mulaney and Nick Kroll created the comedy act “The Oh Hello Show,” which played Broadway in 2016 as “Oh, Hello on Broadway,” under the direction of Timbers. Mulaney earned two Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special Emmy Awards for his comedy specials “Kid Gorgeous at Radio City” and “Baby J.”

Armisen is also an “SNL” alum, having spent over a decade as a regular cast member. He co-created and appeared in the comedy series “Portlandia,” “Documentary Now!” and Moonbase 8.” “All In” will mark his Main Stem debut.

Kind was Tony Award-nominated for his featured turn in the 2013 revival of “The Big Knife.” His other Broadway credits include “The Producers,” “The Tale of the Allergist's Wife” and “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.” Kind is known to television audiences for his roles on “Mad About You,” “Spin City” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”

“All In” will mark Goldsberry’s return to Broadway following her 2016 Tony win for a featured role in “Hamilton.” Her additional Broadway credits include “The Color Purple,” “Rent,” “The Lion King” and “Good People.” She is currently featured in the Netflix series “Girls5Eva.”

Fineman is a current cast member of “SNL,” having joined the long-running show in 2019. Fineman, who lends her voice opposite to Mulaney on the cartoon series “Big Mouth,” will make her Broadway debut in “All In.”

Rich enjoyed a four-year tenure writing for “SNL.” He is the creator and writer of the television series “Man Seeking Woman,” based on his short story collection “Last Girlfriend on Earth,” and “Miracle Workers,” which is inspired by his novel “What in God’s Name.”

Timbers won a Tony for his direction of “Moulin Rouge!” He was also nominated for helming “Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson” and “Peter and the Starcatcher.” In addition to collaborating with Mulaney on the aforementioned “Oh, Hello on Broadway,” he directed Mulaney’s two Emmy-winning comedy specials.

In addition to Seaview and Michaels, “All In” is being produced by New York Studios and Broadway Video (Micah Frank and Caroline Maroney). Wagner Johnson Productions will serve as executive producer.
