A new musical framed around the life of legendary boxer and activist Muhammad Ali is being developed for Broadway, lead producer Richard Willis announced Wednesday.
Titled “Ali,” the show is being written and directed by Clint Dyer, with music by Teddy Abrams.
A pre-Broadway tryout, along with full cast and creative team, will be announced shortly.
The musical is being produced by Willis along with Brook T. Smith and TheTribecaWorkshop in collaboration with ABG Entertainment in partnership with Lonnie Ali.
