A series of post-performance conversations have been launched by the new Broadway play “Job.” The first event will be led by journalist Michael Barbaro, host of the New York Times podcast “The Daily,” on July 24 immediately following the play’s 7 p.m. performance. Barbaro will be joined by cast members Peter Friedman and Sydney Lemmon, playwright Max Wolf Friedlich and director Michael Herwitz.

Additional conversations are to be announced.

“Job” began previews on July 15 and is slated to officially open on July 30 at the Hayes Theatre. The play follows Jane (Lemmon), an employee at a big tech company who has been placed on leave after becoming the subject of a viral video. She arrives in the office of a crisis therapist — Loyd (Friedman) — determined to be reinstated to the job that gives her life meaning.

“Job” is produced by Hannah Getts, Alex Levy, Craig Balsam and P3 Productions.
