The Michael Jackson estate and Columbia Live Stage are developing a stage musical about Jackson’s life.
The musical will feature a book by Lynn Nottage, who is also writing the book for the world premiere of “The Secret Life of Bees.” Christopher Wheeldon will direct and choreograph.
The score will feature songs from Jackson.
The musical, which is not yet titled, is “expected” to come to Broadway in 2020.
