This represents a decrease of 8.2% from the week ending June 30. Attendance saw a smaller decrease, dropping 5.4% to 250,342 admissions. Despite these drops, capacity in theaters went up 2.8 percentage points, filling available seats to 95.63%, the Main Stem’s highest capacity figure since the week ending March 31.
