The Really Useful Group (RUG), the global production company of Tony Award winner Andrew Lloyd Webber, has announced the appointment of Libby Grant as its new chief commercial officer. Grant will lead the commercial and partner strategy for the company which develops, licenses and manages the theatrical properties for Webber’s theatrical properties. Grant will focus on developing existing and new strategic partnerships to diversify the scope of RUG in live entertainment.
Grant has served as a consultant with RUG for the last year. She has also held tenures building brand strategy for Disney, NBCU, Paramount and MGM. Previously, she worked for Ambassador Theatre Group as part of the team that opened “Cabaret” in the West End prior to its currently running Broadway transfer, as well as establishing a global partnership between Meta and Broadway’s “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.”

Also newly announced are several senior-level appointees.
Naomi Symeou was named head of theatrical production for RUG. Symeou previously served as producer and co-managing director at Selladoor Worldwide.
A former senior account manager at the UK-based marketing agency Dewynters, Anna Peachey was appointed head of marketing.
Alex Parker, who has directed and produced musical theater in the U.K. and beyond, was named musical director.
Jon Lee, who has worked as a manager for West End theater producers, was announced as senior licensing and production manager (theatrical and themed entertainment).
Finally, two current RUG staff members received promotions. Sophie Francesca assumed the position of senior entertainment research and development manager, while James Sherwood was appointed head of immersive and themed entertainment.
