Leslie Odom Jr. and Katharine McPhee will announce the Tony nominees the morning of May 1.
The event, which takes place at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center, will be streamed live on the Tony Awards website beginning at 8:30 a.m. that day.
McPhee made her Broadway debut in the lead role in “Waitress” on Tuesday. Odom Jr. won the 2016 Tony Award of Best Actor in a Musical for his role in “Hamilton.”
The cut off to be eligible for this year’s Tony Awards is April 26. The Tony Awards will take place June 10 at Radio City Music Hall.
Before the awards show, the Meet the Nominees press reception is May 2, a luncheon takes place May 22 and the Tony Honors reception takes place June 4.
