Dramatists Play Service (DPS) has acquired the licensing rights to “Left on Tenth.” The autobiographical play by Delia Ephron is now available to license worldwide through DPS, an imprint of Broadway Licensing Global (BLG).

Adapted for the stage from Ephron’s memoir of the same name, “Left on Tenth” follows Delia as she navigates a second chance at love while simultaneously grappling with a devastating health diagnosis.

“We are thrilled to welcome ‘Left on Tenth’ into the Dramatists Play Service catalog,” said chief executive officer of BLG Ted Chapin in a statement. “Delia Ephron’s heartfelt and inspiring story has captivated audiences on Broadway, and we are excited to announce that productions can begin right away.”

Following previews that began on Sept. 26, 2024, “Left on Tenth” opened on Oct. 23 at the James Earl Jones Theatre. The Susan Stroman-directed play, which stars Julianna Margulies, Peter Gallagher, Kate MacCluggage and Peter Francis James, is scheduled to complete its limited engagement on Feb. 2.

In addition to DPS, other imprints falling under the scope of BLG include Broadway Licensing, Playscripts, Stageworks and Broadway on Demand. BLG recently acquired Cole Escola’s “Oh, Mary!”, Jocelyn Bioh’s Tony Award-nominated “Jaja’s African Hair Braiding” and John Leguizamo’s slate of works, while Broadway Licensing acquired 2024 Best Musical Tony Award nominee “Water for Elephants.”
