James Corden will host the 2019 Tony Awards this June.

This is the second time Corden has hosted, after taking on the role in 2016 at the Beacon Theatre. The “Late Late Show” host has two Broadway credits, starring in “The History Boys” in 2006 and “One Man, Two Guvnors” in 2012, for which he won a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play.

“I’m thrilled to be returning to host the Tony Awards, the Broadway community is very dear to my heart and I’m beyond proud to be part of this incredibly special night,” Corden said in the press release.

The Tony Awards will take place on June 9 at Radio City Music Hall. The cut-off date for eligibility this season is April 25, with nominations announced on April 30 at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center.

Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss of White Cherry Entertainment will return as executive producers of the ceremony, with Ben Winston as a producer. Weiss will also serve as director for the 20th consecutive year.

Last year’s ceremony was hosted by Sara Bareilles and Josh Groban.
