Broadway News has launched a new podcast, “Broadway Press Day with Ruthie Fierberg.” The audio series takes listeners inside the press junkets for new productions on the Main Stem.
Ruthie Fierberg, executive editor of Broadway News, produces, edits and hosts.
The premiere episode features members of the cast and creative team of “A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical,” a new bio-musical about the legendary singer and trumpeter coming to the Main Stem this fall. Listen to interviews with co-director and star James Monroe Iglehart, book writer Aurin Squire, co-director Christina Sajous, choreographer Rickey Tripp and tap choreographer DeWitt Fleming Jr. and producer Vanessa Williams.
