“The Notebook” will host an on-stage, post-show performance from Ingrid Michaelson. Michaelson, who composed the musical’s score, will perform at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre following the Aug. 27 performance. Michaelson will perform four songs, including tunes from her new album, “For the Dreamers,” which is slated for an Aug. 23 release. The event is open to all ticket holders of the 7 p.m. performance.

“For the Dreamers” is Michaelson’s first full-length solo record since 2019’s “Stranger Songs.” Following the 2005 release of her debut album “Slow the Rain,” Michaelson has put out eight additional studio albums and one compilation album. She previously performed on stage at the Schoenfeld Theatre following an April performance of “The Notebook.”

Featuring a Tony Award-nominated book by Bekah Brunstetter based on Nicholas Sparks’ 1996 novel, “The Notebook” follows the decades-long love between Noah and Allie, and all the challenges and joys along the way. Directed by Michael Greif and Schele Williams, “The Notebook” opened on March 14. The production was nominated for three 2024 Tony Awards. A national tour was recently announced for 2025.

“The Notebook” is produced by Kevin McCollum and Kurt Deutsch.
