Social media influencer Trisha Paytas will perform a one-night-only performance of her new show “Trisha Paytas’ Big Broadway Dream.” The performance will take place at Broadway’s St. James Theatre on Feb. 3, 2025. Proceeds from the event, which will be directed by Skylar Fox and choreographed by Sarah Meahl, will benefit the Entertainment Community Fund. “Big Broadway Dream” will be produced by Kobi Kassal and Benson Drive Productions, in association with Carson Gleberman and Caitlin Berg.
Paytas is known for her YouTube channel, which includes video blogs, music videos and mukbangs (a video where an individual consumes large quantities of food while interacting with an audience), all of which feature her signature over-the-top, outrageous personality. Paytas has co-hosted the podcast “Frenemies” and “Just Trish.”
“I couldn’t be more thrilled,” Paytas said in a statement. “Of all my dreams, this one is the biggest. I didn’t know how it would happen, but I always felt it would. I’m thankful. Grateful. Humbled. I can’t wait to perform with so many talented people on a Broadway stage. Hopefully it’s just the beginning of my New York adventure.”
As with any benefit performance held in a Broadway house, “Trisha Paytas’ Big Broadway Dream” is neither considered a Broadway show nor part of the 2024-2025 season.
Producer Hub serves as fiscal sponsor to “Big Broadway Dream.” ShowTown Theatricals will provide general management for the event, which will be livestreamed on StagePilot.
