Broadway’s box office remained relatively steady during the week ending Aug. 4. The 26 productions grossed a collective $30,523,164, representing a 2.4% decrease from the previous week. Attendance took an even slighter dip from the week ending July 28, dipping 0.4% to an admissions tally of 239,326. Available seats in theaters were filled 94.7%, down 1% from the previous week.

Despite this minor tumble, these figures represent an increase across the board compared to the same week last season when the same number of shows were playing. This week’s $30.5 million ducats is up 1.6% from the gross that was earned during week ending Aug. 6, 2023, while this week’s admissions tally is a 3.9% jump from last season. Capacity is up 3.3%, as well.
