‘Hamilton’ breaks all-time Broadway box office record

“Hamilton” brought in more than $3.4 million last week, which is the highest gross ever recorded by a Broadway show in history, according to the Broadway League. The musical grossed $3,453,772 across eight performances in the week around Thanksgiving.

“Hamilton” brought in more than $3.4 million last week, which is the highest gross ever recorded by a Broadway show in history, according to the Broadway League.

The musical grossed $3,453,772 across eight performances in the week around Thanksgiving. With that gross, “Hamilton” breaks the record it set in January of last year, when it brought in $3.3 million.

This past week, “Hamilton” played at 101.7% capacity, bringing in 111.8% of its gross potential. Average paid admission was $321.13.

“The Lion King” came in behind “Hamilton” with $2.6 million and “Hello, Dolly!” was in third place with $2.5 million.
