Grosses analysis: George Clooney-led ‘Good Night, and Good Luck’ becomes first play to gross over $3 million in a week

Broadway’s box office grew 10% during week 44 of the 2024-2025 season. Total gross for the 33 current Main Stem productions came to $41,206,933 during the week ending March 23. This marks not only a 10% increase from the week prior (week ending March 16, when 31 productions were running), but the first time since the week ending Jan. 5, when aggregate box office ducats surpassed $40 million. Attendance grew 7.8%, with 299,121 admissions tallied. Capacity remained steady (up 1%), with 96% of available seats filled, the highest percentage since the holiday-tourist-laden week ending Dec. 29, 2024.
