Nathan Gehan, formerly of Bespoke Theatricals, has launched a new production and general management company, Fifth Estate Entertainment.
Fifth Estate will focus on producing and managing tours as well as productions in New York and special events. The company’s first production will be the North American tour of “Rock of Ages,” which begins in October.
“Our extensive experience and passion for the industry will pave the way for Fifth Estate to offer producers and industry professionals a different approach to doing business in the commercial theatre industry,” Gehan said in a press release.
Gehan, who has 20 years of Broadway experience, with recent general management credits including “The Boys in the Band” and ”The Play That Goes Wrong,” will act as president of Fifth Estate. He will work alongside Michael Fiske and Caleigh Holmes.
Fifth Estate will also be the general manager on “Looking for Christmas,” a Clint Black musical that will premiere at the Old Globe in San Diego in November, with plans for a national tour.
