Additional casting has been announced for the Broadway premiere of “Ohio State Murders.”
Joining the previously announced Audra McDonald as Suzanne Alexander will be Bryce Pinkham as Robert Hampshire and Lizan Mitchell as Mrs. Tyler, Miss Dawson and Aunt Lou.
Pinkham was last seen on Broadway in “The Great Society.” He is well-known for originating the role of Monty Navarro in “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder.”
Mitchell last appeared on Broadway in 1998’s “Electra.” She was recently seen off-Broadway in “On Sugarland” and “Cullud Wattah.”
Further casting for “Ohio State Murders” is to be announced.
Kenny Leon will direct the play by Adrienne Kennedy. Additional members of the creative team include Beowulf Boritt (set design), Allen Lee Hughes (lighting design), Dede Ayite (costume design), Justin Ellington (sound design) and Jeff Sugg (projection design).
Previews are set to begin on Nov. 11 ahead of a Dec. 8 opening night at the newly renamed James Earl Jones Theatre.
