Theatrical digital media professionals Micayla Brewster and Chase Haylon have announced the establishment of a new social media agency, The Social Team. The company specializes in social media strategy and account management for theatrical entertainment brands — from specific shows to theater companies, individual artists to unions and more.
The Social Team’s client roster at launch includes “Lizard Boy” (which premiered Off-Broadway in June), the movie musical “Glitter & Doom,” San Francisco’s African-American Shakespeare Company, the Association of Theatrical Press Agents and Managers (ATPAM), Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC), the Broadway Podcast Network, Tony Award-winning actor Lauren Patten and creative director/designer Darrell Thorne, as well as two soon-to-be-announced big-name productions.
