Current ‘SIX’ queens set final performance date

The leading sextet will depart in December.

Broadway’s “SIX” has announced that its current six principals will depart collectively. Hailee Kaleem Wright, Leandra Ellis-Gaston, Bella Coppola, Nasia Thomas, Zoe Jensen and Taylor Iman Jones will play their final performance at the Lena Horne Theatre on Dec. 3. Alternate Holli’ Conway will also exit the production on that date. 

The six lead actors stepped into the production together on Dec. 5, 2022, with Wright as Catherine of Aragon, Ellis-Gaston as Anne Boleyn, Coppola as Jane Seymour, Thomas as Anna of Cleves, Jensen as Katherine Howard and Jones as Catherine Parr.

Alternates Ayla Ciccone-Burton, Kristina Leopold, Aubrey Matalon and Cassie Silva will continue with the company.

Replacement casting has not yet been announced.

Written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, “SIX” tells the story of the six ex-wives of British ruler King Henry VIII. The musical was nominated for eight 2022 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and won for Best Original Score. “SIX” features direction by Moss and Jamie Armitage. 

The production recently announced the new event series “SIXth of the Month.”
